The short version. If you say yes, we text you about your own child — pickup, paperwork, and days we are closed. Never advertising. Reply STOP to any message and it stops, or tell the office and we will do it for you. Message and data rates may apply.
Agape Child Care, a licensed childcare center in Crestview, Florida. Every message we send names the center, so you always know who it is from.
Messages are about your own child and your place at the center. In practice that means:
We do not text advertising, offers, fundraisers or anything you have not asked for. If that ever changes we will ask you again, separately, before we send you any of it.
You agreed by ticking the texting box on our enrollment application, or by telling the office in person and asking us to record it. It is optional. Nothing about your child’s place at the center depends on it, and we never make it a condition of anything.
To stop, reply STOP to any message from us. You can also simply tell the Director at pickup, call the office, or write to us — any of those counts and we act on it the same way. You do not have to use a particular word or a particular channel.
When you reply STOP we send one last message confirming it, and then nothing further. To start again, reply START or tell the office.
These messages are about your child rather than advertising, so stopping them stops all of them — including notice that the center is closed. We will reach you by phone or email instead, so please keep those up to date with the office.

Message frequency may vary — there is no set number, because it depends on what is happening with your child. Most weeks there is nothing at all.
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you for these messages, but your phone company may, depending on your plan. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or share your mobile number, and no mobile information is shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your number goes only to the phone company that carries the message. We keep the number, the date you agreed, the date you stopped if you do, and the messages we sent — the same record we keep of an email.

Please give us a number that is yours. If you change it, tell the office, so that a message about your child does not go to somebody who now has your old number.
